We all know that Donald Trump makes outlandish statements from time-to-time. Heck, it’s not only why he’s such a popular candidate, it also makes him the man he is.
However, he said something rather odd at a recent rally, acknowledging the fact that he continues to lead in the polls despite all the nay-sayers and the haters in the media.

Long story short, he basically said that he could stand in the middle of the street and shoot someone, yet he wouldn’t lose voters. Though many believe he was questioning the intelligence of his voters, as well as mocking them, and even thinking too highly of himself, he got a few laughs, so I believe that he was just trying to make a joke.
Trump currently leads all Republican nominees in recent polls, with Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio following closely behind. The Republican primary is not very far away; if he continues to lead and then gets voters to show up on election day, he will become the Republican nominee for President.
However, it is a bit shocking to make such an extreme comment, especially about killing someone… but hey, it is Donald Trump. These are the comments that he usually makes, and these are the things that he is going to say. And no, he doesn’t care if it’s politically correct or not.
If Trump wins, he will face off against either Hilary Clinton or Bernie Sanders (sorry, Martin O’Malley, but there’s no way in hell that you’re going to win if they won’t even let you speak during the debate). This 2016 Presidential race is one of the most entertaining things since the premiere of Family Guy on FOX.
We’ll see what happens in November 2016, and maybe we will have a President that could openly shoot someone without losing votes.
