Looks like that whiskey has them feeling some kind of way! Tyler Oakley and Hunter Hayes have reunited an old friendship thanks to their mutual love of whiskey…
YouTube content creator Tyler Oakley and country hitmaker Hunter Hayes are no stranger to putting in hard work. Hayes is fresh off the November release of his ambitious 21 album, comprised of 7 live tracks, 7 acoustic tracks, and 7 studio tracks, and Oakley is gearing up for the airing of his run on Amazing Race while (effortlessly) promoting the release of his New York Times best-selling book Binge and his documentary Snervous.
With such impressive work ethics, it should come as no surprise that the duo are also fond of celebrating the fruits of their labors by imbibing some quality whiskey on occasion. This week fans witnessed the blooming of a (seemingly) new friendship when the fabulous twosome realized that they shared a similar appreciation for the amber-toned beverage.
This is how it all came to be…
“Some days” Hayes tweeted out alongside of a photo of himself smiling from behind a large white mug that proclaimed “This Probably is Whiskey.” Clearly impressed by Haye’s commitment to a good buzz, Oakley enthusiastically replied to the message with a fervent “same same same.”
Invigorated by Oakley’s readiness to join the movement of adding a bit of whiskey to your daily cup of coffee, Hayes took things one step further and opened his arms to a new best friend. “Right?! Did we just become best friends?” And that is how their friendship began…
Or so you would think!
In fact, Tyler Oakley was quick to remind the 21 crooner that their friendship can actually be traced back to when they were babies! Posting a Throwback photo, Oakley shared a memory of the twosome bonding way back in their earlier years.
