Shawn Mendes Announces Next Album ‘Illuminate’

Shawn Mendes took to Twitter to announce the release of his next album. The album will be titled ‘Illuminate’ and it will debut on September 23rd.

Shawn Mendes recently released his next single with ‘Treat You Better’ and it’s a summer smash. Mendes has a soothing vocal and he pretty much makes us swoon at the drop of a hat. So, we are more than excited about his announcement that his next album will be coming. He’s titled it Illuminate and it will hit the shelves – or downloads – on September 23rd. We also do know that the album title is also the title of his next single.

Mendes did a little teasing on his Twitter over the last few days and from what we see, we are going to love this song! We wish we had more to share like a track list or even the whole album, but so far Mendes is being a little bit of a tease. We suppose mystery is key. Though, according to his Twitter, another song off the album will be called ‘Rush’ and if you preorder the album on Friday, you will get the new song.

Take a look at the live video for ‘Treat You Better’ available on Vevo. It helps ease the wait.

So, are you excited about the next project from Shawn Mendes? Do you have hopes for the songs he will give you in September? Are you going to get ‘Rush’ the moment it becomes available? We know we will! Check out the other teasers regarding Illuminate.
