While most children might prefer to play in the local park or something similar, aged seven, Molly Moore began writing songs. A New York native, Moore was raised by musical parents who she often credits with helping her find her sound and style.
Upon moving to Los Angeles, her song-writing prowess led her to write tracks for Felix Cartal, DubVision, Dyro, Vicetone & Lost Kings, while her songs have also appeared on several reality TV shows.
With her career continuing to progress at an impressive pace, she released her debut EP Shadow Of The Sun, featuring the single “Peace of My Heart” last year, and now, as she gears up to release her second collection, Now U See Me, she has now unveiled her new single entitled “Imaginary Friends”.
Driven by soft guitars and a stunning harmonic vocal, assisted by use of a horn, “Imaginary Friends” is a superb introduction to Moore and her music for fans who have yet to discover this incredible talent. While most pop-songs can be and are often instantly forgettable, Moore’s new release instead comes across as a rejuvenation of the genre, with a down-tempo rhythm and a sound quite different from anything you might have ever heard before.
