Pixar And Vans Team Up For New Toy Story Sneakers

If you didn’t cry at least once during Toy Story 3, you’re lying to yourself. The entire franchise captured our hearts and imaginations since Buzz Lightyear first landed on Andy’s bed, noting signs of intelligent life (or lack thereof). Now, our lovable characters are off on a new adventure: sneakers. Vans and Pixar have teamed up to bring us a line of footwear and accessories that will surely take us to infinity and beyond.

Woody

Sheriff Woody, we’ll never forget you. You kept order in Andy’s bedroom while he was away and successfully thwarted the Prospector’s plan.

He’s also the inspiration behind several of Vans and Pixar’s latest shoes, bringing his face, silhouette, and iconic features to Sk8-Hi Reissue PT, Old Skool, and Authentic Vans. These shoes will “cleverly” use some of what we would associate with the Wild West, including leather and denim.

Buzz

Buzz Lightyear of Star Command will be featured on Sk8-Hi Reissue and Old Skool shoe models. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to use any of the buttons to help us fall with style.

Lace up these shoes and set lasers to pew, we’re headed to Star Command!

Minor Characters

There are no small roles, just those who aren’t Woody and Buzz.

While Bo Peep, Mr. Potato Head, Rex, Slinky, Ham, and other lovable characters won’t get as many shoe options as the space ranger and the cowboy, they will be featured on other accessories, including backpacks, caps, and possibly keychains.

Some sneakers will even feature the iconic “Andy” written across the bottom!

Shoeboxes will have the Disney Toy Story logo above Vans on a light blue Andy wallpaper background. Twitter users are already beyond excited after Vans released a video through their Instagram.
