Jaden Smith Reads Mind-Blowing Facts About The Universe

During his interview and photo shoot with Vanity Fair, Jaden Smith was asked to read mind-blowing facts about humans, fruit, Earth, and the universe.

Jaden Smith is a lot of things. Actor. Rapper. Model. Activist. He’s philosophical, a wordsmith of sorts, his tweets much deeper and wiser than one would expect of an 18-year old. But it seems that he’s added another tally to his resume: scientist.

The 18-year-old actor and musician, son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, was recently named a “style star” by Vanity Fair. During his interview and photo shoot with the magazine, he was asked to read mind-blowing facts about humans, fruit, Earth, and the universe.

The video titled “Jaden Smith Reads Mind-Blowing Facts About the Universe,” is a 2 minute and 20-second-long educational journey that features a dramatic reading of 17 crazy and unbelievable facts. The fan-proclaimed “next Ghandi” takes “woke” to the next level. As the voice-over plays, Jaden reacts perplexed by the information, shaking his head and occasionally adding in extra commentary such as “How?” and “Unbelievable.”

So what could possibly be so mind-bending and astonishing? “The human brain takes in 11 million bits of information every second, but is aware only of 40,” reads one fact. “You were once the youngest person in existence,” reads another. Or did you know that, as according to the video, “on Saturn and Jupiter it rains diamonds.” The video continues with more unbelievable facts, such as “human saliva contains a painkiller called opiorphin that is six times more powerful than morphine.” One fact did garner a chuckle from Jaden Smith, though. “If you add up the amount of hours that World of Warcraft players have played the game, it comes out to over 6 million years,” to which he responded with “I actually play World of Warcraft, so that’s really funny.”

The video didn’t go amiss by fans, who took to Twitter with their reactions.
