Diving full force into the music industry after making it to Hollywood on American Idol, Noah has returned with another track, “No Man“, which follows “Tickin on us” and “Hooked”. Leaving that experience to speak for itself, there is no doubt that Noah is going to be someone that you have your eyes glued to. I know we do, and we can’t get enough.
If you want a look into the music industry from the artists point of view, “No Man” is exactly that. Making it into the music industry isn’t easy in the slightest way. In this new track Noah lets listeners and fans know there will be absolutely no distraction keeping him from achieving mainstream status.
“I’m working my ass off to pave my way in the music industry. Sometimes it’s easy to get distracted – I’m going to continue to have fun and feel sexy, BUT I won’t catch feelings for no man so I can stay focused on the goals ahead!” Noah mentions. “Tickin On Us” was a chill, vibey song and was the first time I’d ever professionally recorded something I have written so that was an amazing moment for me! And “Hooked” was the first song I ever wrote when I moved to LA! It was my little masterpiece and I was so so excited to release that song! “No Man” is special to me, I love this song so much! It’s the first song I’m releasing while feeling like I know my direction and who I am as an artist. I’m just excited for this song to be put into the world and see the reactions and what people think about the new Noah”.
“I went into the studio that day knowing I wanted to create something vibrant and upbeat and that’s what I told the people working with me. When I heard the track that the producer had made, I loved it immediately! Funnily enough, I told the producer that I wanted to give people the energy Ariana Grande brought with her new music! We ended up writing “No Man” and the song had such a good vibe and feel to it!! As soon as I heard the demo I wanted to put it out ASAP! It’s so much fun and everyone that I’ve shown it to has loved it! I wanted to create a song that made me dance in the car, jump on the bed, or hop on a table ya know?! haha! This song has exactly the energy I wanted to showcase in my new music! I’msuch an independent strong-willed person but I also know how to have a good time and I think this song embodies that mindset!” Noah Davis told us.
“That experience (American Idol) was a huge eye-opener and confidence boost for me! The show gave me the confidence to move to LA and work on my music but it also gave me insight into a lot of areas that needed work! Idol was a gateway to meeting many of the best people I’ve met in my life! Some of my best friends and people I consider family came into my life because of opportunities American Idol presented. The show really taught me to find meaning in all the opportunities that come my way and to keep growing as a person because I’ll find success in growth!”
When making it in the music industry, numbers, data, etc, tend to make or break an artist. However, all artists tend to look at numbers in their own different ways. “I think that growing an audience is so important for any artist. Not that numbers on a social media site define anything you do, but having an audience to interact with and share music with is so special and important! I love watching the growth in my music! I remember freaking out over my first 10K streams, and then 20K and 30K and so on!
“This record is for sure the beginning of a new era! I feel like my creativity is always running all over the place so every project I release will probably have a different vibe or personality! This song’s personality is feisty and aggressive! It’s sexy and fun and has its own unique vibe compared to my other singles! “No Man” is really all about feeling like a bad bitch and setting the tone for the energy I want to keep in 2020. It’s about being independent and in charge while having fun and remaining focused! I have so many goals I want to accomplish in 2020 and I definitely don’t need no man to help me get there — “The fact that anyone listens to it makes me feel so thankful! To me, it’s not as much about numbers as it is about creating something I’m proud of and want to share with others (but streams would be nice because proud doesn’t pay these bills babe). I just plan on continuing to make great music that I love and people will have to listen! I want to release so much new music all throughout 2020 and I hope that every time I have a different story to tell, there are people to listen! So far my journey with music has been so incredibly educational and rewarding and I can’t wait to see what happens next!”
