Allegra Unveils “Used To Miss You” R3HAB Remix Video

“I wanted to write about letting go of a person who’s become toxic in your life…”

From an early age, Allegra always found herself drawn to music and entertaining. Classically trained in choir and violin, she was signed to a label at 14 and has in the last few years been sharing her artistic talents with the world through singles such as “All About Us”, which hit #7 on Billboard’s Dance Chart. Her latest single “Used To Miss You” is perhaps her strongest to date, and PopWrapped are delighted to share the video for its R3HAB remix. R3HAB, a massive name in the world of pop and dance in his own right, has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, and his collaboration with Allegra is testament to just how big of a star she is – rightly – becoming.

Allegra says of the inspiration and story behind the track: “I wanted to write about letting go of a person who’s become toxic in your life. Someone who isn’t able to give back the same energy that you give them. In the song I sing about the feeling of always waiting around a phone and wasting all your thoughts on them. But then you realise that you’re so much better than them and that you don’t need them in your life anymore. They were just a person who held you back and this song is the realisation of that moment. That’s why I wanted the music video to show confidence and the feeling of knowing that your so much better. Why waste your time on someone who can’t appreciate you? Be your confident self and know they will regret it later on.
