OSTON Lets All Fears Go On New EP ‘AM I TALKING TOO MUCH?

LA-based pop singer-songwriter OSTON – the moniker of Austin Wolfe – has released her long awaited sophomore EP, Am I Talking Too Much?, following fan-favorites “Lie About You,” “I Think You Should Leave,” “How To Feel Human (feat, JORDY)”, and “Hurt Like___”. The 8-track collection of songs, out now via 3V Method Records/Virgin Music, takes the listener through OSTON’s journey of love, loss, and growth over the last two years.

OSTON kicked off 2021 with major momentum thanks to the TikTok community, after her then-demo “Lie About You” experienced a viral moment, with over two million views and thousands of comments begging to release the song. The song accumulated over one million global streams in its first month across streaming platforms alongside the music video being featured on MTV.

Since she began writing for the project in 2019, OSTON has collaborated with many acclaimed artists, including UPSAHL (Arista), Bülow (Republic), JORDY (300 Ent), LØLØ (APG), Charlotte Sands, and writers/producers Tobias Jesso Jr. (Adele, Sia, Niall Horan), Ryan Raines (Dominic Fike, Peach Tree Rascals), House of Wolf (Carlie Hanson, Cheat Codes), Rollo (Noah Cyrus, Ava Max), and Louis Schoorl (Charlotte Lawrence).

OSTON has received support from radio executives Jeff McClusky (JMA) and Phil Guerini (Radio Disney) with three singles charting at number 1 on Radio Disney, and her last three music videos have been aired on MTV. She has supported the likes of Omar Apollo, Golden Vessel, Kevin Garrett, and is set to tour the US with JORDY in late 2021.

Executive produced by Drew Polovick (Big Machine Publishing), ‘Am I Talking Too Much?’ comes as a collaboration with Mr. Popular (Big Noise), Zev Troxler (Warner Chappell Music), Jordan Shulman (Prescription Songs), Nigel Hemmye, Lixa, and Noah Taylor.

Speaking about the project, OSTON shares, “‘Am I Talking Too Much?’ is a project detailing the ins-and-outs of my brain, where I worry that I’m going to ruin literally anything and everything good that’s within my grip. A lot of the time, I feel like I talk just to fill in life’s awkward silences. I spent a lot of time reflecting on how talking “too much” and overthinking are such big characteristics of mine, and part of what makes me who I am.

She continues, “As humans, we’re all a little messed up in our own ways – but we’re allowed to be flawed and anxious and cranky and to feel our feelings. Writing this project helped me to see that while I have somewhat of an understanding of who I am and my purpose in this world, it doesn’t necessarily define who I have to be for the rest of my life. And that maybe the people who love and accept me for that are the people I really want in my life anyways.”
