Dylan Dunlap Unveils New Single “Same Side”

“…One of the hardest things to do in life is to admit when you’re wrong…”

Music has been a part of Dylan Dunlap’s life since he was young. By the time he was ten, he’d gone from playing the piano to creating original instrumental compositions on Pro Tools and, at college age, found himself performing to the people of Burbank, CA as a busker. In recent years, he’s wowed audiences across the US and UK, shared the stage with OneRepublic and amassed a hugely impressive 40 million-plus streams on Spotify, a number that will no doubt rise considerably with the release of his latest single “Same Side”, which PopWrapped are delighted to premiere.

As an individual who tirelessly champions and often collaborates with causes and organisations including To Write Love On Her Arms that promote the importance of mental health in all its forms and how it can and does impact lives, his new song has its own important message that’s expressed through the lyrics. Dylan explains: “I figured out the best way to have a real conversation with my fans about settling arguments healthily and owning up to stubbornness: Disguise it underneath an addictive melody. It’s ironic that this track was born out of spite when I initially didn’t want to write it in the first place; almost proving its own point. One of the hardest things to do in life is to admit when you’re wrong, but sometimes it’s the only way to grow. I’m so thankful to have co-written this with the absolute love of my life, Marisa Davila. She’s a force to be reckoned with in every facet of the entertainment industry and it’s a real honor to have collaborated with her.”
