In the gaming community, there are many different awards you can win. Whether they are community picks from around the web, or even just someone’s blog, every award is meaningful. However, one of the most coveted and anticipated awards are The Game Awards. A good way to look at them is the “Oscars of Gaming”.
Every year gamers around the globe make their predictions and tune in and vote on what games will be included on the end-of-year list. Developers and video game executives come together as well to vote and make their picks for the most influential games of the year.
The Game Awards, hosted by Geoff Keighley, were eventful for many reasons. Not only were awards in all categories announced, there were also multiple world premiers of trailers for both video games and movies.
