Sue Wong has been a Hollywood staple for decades. She is one of the worlds’ most iconic and well-known fashion guru’s; her looks featured on nearly every red carpet of the last 30-years.
In true Sue fashion, (see what I did there) Wong threw the most spectacular, star-studded New Year’s Eve party, in all of Los Angeles. It was an iconic Hollywood who’s-who, complete with a red carpet, 8-course dinner service, and all the champagne and liquor one could ever hope to consume.
Sue Wong – The Cedars Estate Tradition Lives On
The gala was hosted at Wong’s legendary Hollywood estate, The Cedars. Since the 1920’s, The Cedars estate has been home to some of the most famed celebrities in the world. Bob Dylan, The Doors, Jim Morrison, Johnny Depp, legendary artist Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, Howard Hughes, 20th Century Fox Studios founder, Joseph Schneck, and Jimi Hendrix have all called The Cedars estate home. Hendrix most famous song, Purple Haze was composed on the property, and Cedars has been a central filming location for Hollywood film classics including Easy Rider (1969) and Sunset Boulevard (1949).
Since its conception, The Cedars has subsequently served as host for a
constellation of legendary Hollywood stars and musical royalty including Norma
Talmadge, Joseph Schneck, founder of 20th Century Fox Studios, Béla Lugosi, Errol
Flynn, Howard Hughes, Marilyn Monroe, Jimi Hendrix, Lou Reed and the Velvet
Underground, Andy Warhol, Dennis Hopper, Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison, John
Phillips, Brian Jones and The Rolling Stones, as well as Johnny Depp. It has also
been featured in a number of Hollywood film classics, including Sunset Boulevard
(1949) and Easy Rider (1969). Ever since it was conceptualized and built by silent-
screen MGM French film director Maurice Tourneur in the years between 1921
and 1926 The Cedars has been home to Hollywood royalty. Wong has only continued that tradition.

Celebrity guests included amazing light workers Sacha Stone, Michael Jaco, SHIFU
Abbot Yeanfan of the Shaolin Temple, and the Reverend Patrick McCollum, actors
Billy Zane, Sadie Katz, Two-Time Emmy Winner Vincent DePaul, TV Talk Show Hosts Jimmy Star and Ron Russell, Hip-Hop superstar YNG Zuck, John Barrymore, Mike Ferguson, Al Burke, rockers Scott Page, Chris Pittman, ARO Rose, John Walsh, Violinist Scarlet Rivera, fashion icons Richie Rich and Mister D, producers and directors Joseph Kelly, Jackie Kong, Scott Engrotti, Dave Bailey, Two-Time Emmy Nominated Showrunner Myles Reiff, E! Wong’s guests were served the finest champagnes and liquors from Sovereign Brands, including Bumbu Rum, Luc Belaire Champagne, Villon Cognac, McQueen and the Violet Fog Gin, and more, all courtesy of Wong, and Antoine Casanave.
It’s not often that one would still be in awe of a Holiday party a week later, but Wong’s 2022 New Years Eve extravaganza certainly set the stage for an amazing year.
