Have you ever thought that it would be absolutely amazing to have a TARDIS in space floating around because you love Doctor Who so much? Well you aren’t alone!

This father and daughter duo have formed a Kickstarter campaign for people to donate to launch an actual TARDIS into space for this year’s 50th Anniversary. In order to make this happen, this project needed a minimum goal of $33,000. They have already reached their goal! They have actually surpassed it! The TARDIS that they are currently planning on launching is very small.

Much like the real TARDIS though, it’s bigger on the inside, in terms of technology. The small capsule is actually holding a camera that will be able to shoot pictures of Earth while in orbit. A hard drive for project backers to be able to store their name and possibly a message on. This is all powered by solar powered panels installed in the windows!

The more you donate to the cause, the more you can put on there and receive as a prize for supporting this project. Now, the project has passed it’s goal amount needed to send it into space.

You may be asking, “What will happen with the extra money that’s been donated?” Well, the more money they get could increase the size of the TARDIS, which will allow for more things inside! The page even says if they were to raise $382,000 that a real, full size TARDIS could be sent into space. Can you imagine!? To hear all of the details of this project, here’s the original video of the duo discussing this project:
