Nintendo has declared 2013 the ‘year of the 3DS’ and is bringing a lot to the table in terms of both hardware and software!
The pink 3DS XL was released last year in Japan and finally is ready to be launched in the UK on May. And there will be an impressive list of games to occupy your time as well; from the already released Luigi’s Mansion 2 & Fire Emblem: Awakening to the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Pokemon X & Y and a sequel to Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
On top of all that, Nintendo has also lauched an plug-in for the 3DS in Japan that allows users to capture screenshots of the games they are playing share them to Twitter or Tumblr. No word yet on whether the program will be heading West to us any time soon.
With all these exciting announcements about the 3DS coming out, it sounds like a great year for handheld gamers!
