Pilot season is in full swing and casting announcements are coming fast and furious. This week’s announcements included two additions to the cast of the extraterrestrial drama, Oxygen. Malese Jow (Anna, The Vampire Diaries) and Titus Makin Jr. (David Warbler, Glee) join Aimee Teegarden as fellow students at a high school where humans and aliens attend side-by-side, part of a government-run “integration” program.
Oxygen has been described as the Roswell of this generation. The big difference being that the aliens in Oxygen aren’t hiding out; they even help save the life of Julia (Jow) who was suffering from a severe, life-threatening illness. From the sounds of it Makin will continue to play the ‘friend-zoned’ best friend character to Teegarden’s Emery.
