On Monday, Alexandra Chando, who plays the double role of Sutton/Emma on ABC Family TV Show The Lying Game, took to her twitter and Instagram to announce that The Lying Game has officially been cancelled.
She told her followers via Instagram/twitter:
“To our awesome [Lying Game] fans, thank you for these two amazing seasons. Unfortunately, ABC Family has decided not to bring us back for a third season. We so wanted to do 10 more for you guys! Thank for your support and keep up with the cast to see what’s next for us! Xx”
This ends the speculation and question for many fans of the show whether the show was going to get picked up or cancelled this summer.
The finale for the second season – which will now be known as the series finale – left fans wondering who the murderer was, the fate of one of the characters, and the affect of the twins finally being known to more people.
So are you upset or mad that The Lying Game is cancelled?
All we can do now (besides sending twitter mentions to ABC Family’s Twitter account) is say thank you to the cast, the writers, the creators of the show, and the crew members who worked hard to give us two amazing seasons.
