Very rarely does an ordinary music video make both my film nerd and music geek sides squeal with joy, but Adele is far from an ordinary artist, and her latest music video has accomplished that feat, and not only is the song stunningly beautiful but the video is absolutely gorgeous.

Adele takes center stage in the video for “Hello,” which shows her singing about her angst and regrets, while still being absolutely beautiful and showing off her killer voice that has pretty much defined this current generation of musicians. The music video is absolutely stunning in the way it was filmed, and it’s very rare that a music video pays such meticulous attention to cinematography. The song, itself, is absolutely heartbreaking and brilliant, but the music video just takes it to the next level. I dare anyone to watch it and not feel a little heartache or a tear rolling down your cheek.
