Exciting news, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D fans. Not just one, but two new cast members have been announced to be joining the Joss Whedon led project this week.
Cast as a “brilliant and quirky scientist” in a recurring role, but with nothing further known about his character at the time of going to press, is Ghost Whisperer‘s David Conrad. Best known for his role as Jim Clancy playing opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt until 2010, Conrad is at present a mysterious but welcome addition to the SHIELD cast.
Also announced this week is a big name for Whedon enthusiasts. Two words: Shepherd Book. Yeah, Firefly fans, you know. Actor Ron Glass plays a doctor of sorts in the pilot, and is expected to appear later in the series as well.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, which launches on 24th September is already set to be one of the most intriguing series on TV this year, if not in years, but somehow it just got better. Roll on September!
