All she wants for Christmas is a royal re-do, please! Mariah Carey recently performed at the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in Washington D.C., where she attempted to belt out her holiday hit, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
Chalk it up to bad weather, sickness or just a bad night, but the five-octave superstar was evidently struggling during the entire song. She seemed winded and appeared tired as she did her best to belt out her classic single. But, after some major cracks in her voice even the Grammy winner had to acknowledge the less-than-stellar performance.
“Oh, how grateful I would be for a redo,” she said after her song. “It is what it is, Santa.”
We all know Mariah can sing, and every artist has their musical mishaps, some are just more shocking and unexpected than others.
