Gather your crystals and herbs! Alyssa Milano, who played Phoebe Halliwell on Charmed, said in a recent Entertainment Tonight interview that she and her fellow Charmed Ones, Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs (Paige and Piper, respectively) are totally on board for a reboot!
We are all open for [a Charmed reunion]! It seems like that’s going to happen any second. I just feel like with all these reunions, and we still have such a cult following, that I feel like someone’s going to put that together at some point, and we’re all totally on board for that!
Fans have been clamoring for a Halliwell sister reunion for a long time, even going so far as to photoshop all four Halliwell sisters into the iconic Book of Shadows Celtic triquetra.
Of course, we know not all of the Halliwell sisters will return, unless Prue (Shannon Doherty) comes back as a ghost. Prue died in the Charmed One’s battle against Shax, the Source’s personal assassin. Her ultimate sacrifice earned her a special place in fans’ hearts.
Milano has been on board with a Charmed reunion for a while, even taking to Twitter in 2013 to voice her agreement for a movie. Doherty agreed it would be a good idea – maybe we’ll get that ghostly appearance after all?
I would definitely do a #charmed movie. Would you, @H_Combs @rosemcgowan and @DohertyShannen?

McGowan affirmed her support for the reboot in an interview with E! Online in 2015.
But you know what? Witchcraft is kind of awesome and I had the best powers, so I hope so. Sure.
On top of pushing for a reunion with her on-screen sisters, Milano is also set to be a part of the next season of Project Runway: All Stars. Milano confessed that at 44, she has never felt more confident in herself. Especially now with her son, Milo, and wonderful family.
“[Motherhood] does put everything else in perspective in a powerful way, and gives you the confidence to do other things. You almost become, even though you may not be focusing on your career, you become more confident all around so you’re able to take more risks in your career.”
Milano also continued her advocacy for breastfeeding in public. She said she posts her own breastfeeding photos to her Instagram because she is concerned “that women do not have positive role models” when it comes to the natural ability to breastfeed.
“To me it’s so important for little girls… to see other women breastfeeding so that it becomes acceptable and normal for their generation… The fact that we need lactation consultants after we give birth is so crazy to me, but it’s because we never see other women! We don’t know how. We don’t have a sister or an aunt to show us or teach us the right way to do it.”
Hopefully Netflix will pick Charmed up for a reboot, or at least a movie. With everyone on board to reprise their roles (although we have yet to ask Brian Kraus or Julian McMahon) it’s sure to be amazing!
I for one would be more than happy to binge a whole new Charmed series. How about you?
