Amanda Seyfried disagrees with the UK’s government plan to block online access to X-rated content.
The Lovelace actress, who portrays pornstar Linda Lovelace in the new biopic, believes in “to each his own”. She explained that a ban on such content would only make viewing it “that much more powerful.”
Despite admitting that, after watching porn at the age of six, the experience was disturbing; Seyfried has also said that it’s “always going to exist.” She added, “it’s freedom, we should be free to be able to watch whatever we want.”
In a previous interview, the 27-year-old actress voiced her fears that this film could have ruined her career. She stated that she is not afraid of dark content.
Lovelace is on limited released in US theatres. It premieres in the UK on August 23rd.
