Earlier today, co-creator of FX hit horror series American Horror Story announced via Twitter that the next season would be titled ‘Freak Show.’

According to Entertainment Weekly, the 1950s based plot will center on Jessica Lange, who will play a German woman managing one of the only remaining freak shows in the country. EW added that the band of freaks includes regulars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Frances Conroy, Kathy Bates, and Angela Bassett, all of whom play performers who were saved by Lange’s character. Additional casting  is still in negotiation, including Denis O’Hare, and last season’s newcomer Emma Roberts.
