Adam Sandler is no stranger to a Razzie nod, and this year was no different. His newest film, Grown-ups 2, received eight nominations eight times in this year’s Razzies, including worst actor, director, and screenplay. While the film was relatively successful at the box office earning nearly $250 million, critics were clearly unimpressed. The good news is that he didn’t repeat his record setting Razzie Award nominations from 2012, where Jack and Jill managed to earn 10 Razzie awards.
Other movies in the running include Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas, Will and Jaden Smith’s After Earth, and Movie 43, which featured a star studded cast ensemble, all of which earned a noteworthy six nominations.
The awards kick off on March 1, the day before the Oscars ceremony. Check out the list of nominees below:
