It’s been two years since Arctic Monkeys released their album ‘Suck It and See’ in 2011; now we are getting more news on the sound of their latest album ‘AM’ as we await the release.

Lead singer of ‘Queen of the Stone Age’, Josh Homme, will be featured on the song ‘AM’, which is also the title of the new album.

The first single from the new album is “Do I Wanna Know?” which you can check it out below:

In an interview with NME, Homme, talked about his work with Arctic Monkeys and what’s in store for fans of the group when their new album drops 9th September in the UK, and on the 10th in the US.

When speaking of the song ‘AM’ in which he collaborated with frontman Alex Turner and Co., Homme said, “It’s a really cool, after midnight record…it’s not disco (as such) but it’s like a modern, dance floor sexy record, it’s really good.”

So it seems fans of the group have just less than two months before the highly anticipated fifth album is out; both in store and online.  Make sure you have 9th September (UK) or 10th September (US) marked in your calendar!
