Sheffield Indie band Arctic Monkeys has released the artwork for their eagerly awaited sixth studio album.
The album to be called AM will be released on September 9 in the UK and September 10 in the US. Appearing on the album with the band will be Josh Homme, the frontman of band Queens of the Stone Age. The US singer has been quoted as saying that the new album from Alex Turner and the Sheffield boys is a “really cool, sexy after-midnight record.”
The Arctic Monkeys will be playing a headline gig at London’s Roundhouse as part of the iTunes Festival on September 9.
