Even though the third season of Arrow got mixed reactions from fans, the show is returning to The CW this fall with its fourth season. Apparently, this marks as a brand-new era for the series, as it’s moving closer to its comic-book roots in various ways.
To begin with, Oliver Queen will no longer be the Arrow, but will in fact be re-introduced as the Green Arrow. In addition to that, his suit has gone through an extreme makeover and it’s now much closer to the one the character wears in the comics. As if that wasn’t enough, it seems that Starling City will be renamed to Star City as well! If you recall, Ray Palmer hinted at a name-change early in the show’s third season, so maybe now the time has come. The news were spilled by Paul Blackthorne, the actor portraying Quentin Lance, via an instagram photo that shows his new badge. Give it a look below.

In more Arrow-related news, Charlotte Ross is expected to reprise the role of Donna Smoak in the upcoming, fourth season of the show. The actress will appear in the sixth episode of the season, but we have yet to find out what she’ll be up to this time around. Without meaning to spoil anything, maybe her guest does have something to do with Felicity’s father after all.
Arrow is scheduled to return to The CW with its fourth season on October 7.
