Artist Spotlight: Bradley Kim Returns With New Single, “don’t”

After finding his love and passion for creating music in his late teenage years after having a creative promposal, Bradley Kim is finally taking the dive into the music industry – having just recently put out a track titled, “Malibu”, and a collection of singles since his first release in 2019.

The 22 year old singer songwriter recently had to change his path after receiving a Division 1 scholarship to the United States Air Force academy where he played football for two years and unfortunately had to hang up his cleats as a result of a few injuries. Taking that as an unfortunate experience, and turning it into the drive to pursue music full time.

Letting nothing negative stand in his way, Bradley Kim has released a handful of singles & Isn’t locking himself into any stereotypes when it comes to the dreams that he plans to pursue – & it’s worth noting, Bradley’s songwriting paired with each production of each track is absolutely stunning.

Often writing from the perspective of others, Bradley uses his music and lyrics to process and express his inner thoughts and emotions. Throughout the years, he has had influences from artists such as Lauv, Chelsea Cutler, John K, Motel 7, Ben Rector, and many more alike. Their captivating melodies, chill vibes, and ability to evoke emotion from their listeners influence the guitar-driven, indie/alternative/pop music that Bradley embodies.

“The song {don’t} is about self-sabotaging and messing up a relationship and thinking that the damage is irreparable, but still never wanting to spend a single night without them. I wrote this at a low point in my life and it was a 5-minute word vomit that I never edited; I think it makes the song more genuine and rawer that way.” Bradley told PopWrapped.

don’t” is an intimate, guitar-driven song with melancholic melodies. The raw lyrics and clean production give it a sound that is sure to evoke emotion from its listeners. Bradley wrote and performed “don’t” in a way that he hoped his audience would feel the emotions he felt while writing  this song.

“don’t” , the new single from Bradley Kim is out now on all of your favorite streaming platforms, now. If you want to follow along Bradley’s journey, be sure to follow him on Instagram and Twitter to stay up to date with his releases.
