Last Tuesday, a first edition copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone with J.K. Rowling’s drawings and annotations was auctioned, raising a total of £150,000 for English PEN (a worldwide writer’s association) and Lumos (a children’s charity founded by Rowling).
For those of us dying with envy, Rowling has just updated her site with one of the drawings she penned within: a contemplative Snape ‘brooding over the unfairness of life’.
