More than a decade after it first captured the attention of young people everywhere, Pokemon has once again found itself the talk of the world.

With Pokemon GO currently an undoubted global phenomenon – personally one I’m not a part of but I know I’m in the minority there – with scores of players from around the world getting involved in the hunt for Pikachu and his friends (the rest of whom I can’t name, yes I’m hopeless), the craze is attracting huge amounts of public and press attention.

Getting in on the fun, actor and comedian Monty Geer, best known for his role as Cole on MTV’s Awkward, has created his own Pokemon Go video – and, perhaps unsurprisingly – it’s hilarious.

To date, the video has had more than 1.6 million views on Facebook alone and features guest appearances from his Awkward co-star Niko Pepaj (Sergio), Lindsey Morgan (Raven Rayes) from The 100 and Matt Iseman, the host of American Ninja Warrior.
