The 2011 film Bad Teacher starring Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake has been picked up by CBS for the 2013-2014 season amid six other new series premiering this fall.
Actress Ari Graynor who you may recognize from What’s Your Number or Nick and Norah’s Infinite Play List has been cast in Diaz role as the central character, a woman who has to become a teacher after being left by her wealthy beau.
Graynor joins the cast with previous Sex in the City star Kristin Davis who plays her nemesis, along with David Alan Grier and Ryan Hansen.
Will this TV spin off gather the large audience that it’s R-Rated origin story did?
