After 36 years Barbra Streisand will be taking the stage at the Academy Awards.
The announcement came after it was announced that the Oscars would be doing a tribute to movie musicals that have graced our screens for the last 10 years.
It was also officially announced that Adele will be performing her Golden Globe winning song for the newest James Bond film, “Skyfall”.
What Streisand will be performing has not been released, but the rumors have already begun.
Vanity Fair’s The Hollywood blog says that they hope Streisand will not be performing a song from most recent comedy show, The Guilt Trip, but will be taking part in said tribute.
And let’s be honest, we are all thinking the same thing.
Well, until February 24th we are going to have to keep speculating what the movie musical tribute will entail. What are you hoping Streisand will be singing?
