It’s been well documented over the years the problems that Ben Affleck has had with gambling (and reportedly alcohol). Now, we’re hearing that ultimately may have led to his upcoming divorce from Jennifer Garner.
There are obviously two sides to every story, and TMZ is claiming to have Ben’s sources and Jen’s sources.
On Jen’s side, we’re hearing she finally became done with his constant drinking and gambling and pulled the plug on their marriage.
Ben’s sources are quite different.
It’s being reported that it’s simply due to two people changing, while also claiming that the couple has spent two years in therapy. Ben sources also add they’ve actually been separated for 10 months, so there was no recent ‘happening’ that caused the divorce announcement.
There is also a report that while there’s no prenup, it was never necessary because they’ve both made a substantial amount of money over the years. Being together for 10 years, there would be no need to offer her child support. Jen’s earned just as much as Ben has over the years, due to syndication deals for her old TV show Alias, as well as her many films.
Now for the flipside of all of this.
There are OTHER reports stating that ever since Ben’s career exploded even more so over the past few years, his schedule has gotten so crazy, Jennifer has been feeling neglected, which led to her pulling the plug.
