Benedict Cumberbatch can currently been seen in the latest Star Trek movie. Fans are also eagerly awaiting the return of Sherlock. He is also the star of the soon to be released The Fifth Estate.
The Fifth Estate is the story of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. Cumberbatch is just the name to tackle this controversial movie. Cumberbatch says the role of Assange was a challenging one. He also felt a moral obligation to portray him in the best possible way.
The film, due for release on October 11, is directed by Academy Award winning director Bill Condon.
Already there are whispers of Oscar nods for both Condon and Cumberbatch.
