Benedict Cumberbatch to SING in Neverwhere!

Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere has been adapted into a six part audio drama that will start airing this Saturday, March 16^th 2:30 GMT on BBC 4/4 Extra. The series will also be available for free download.

Neverwhere was first a television serial and then was adapted into a novel (and later a comic book) both of them were by Neil Gaiman. Neverwhere is about Richard Mayhew and how his life goes totally upside down when he rescues a girl named Door. In typical Gaiman fashion, the story takes everyday concepts and twists them upside down and backwards.

Cumberbatch is not the only high profile name starring in the Neverwhere. We have James McAvoy, Natalie Dormer, David Harewood, Sophie Okonedo, Anthony Stewart Head, David Schofield, Bernard Cribbins, Romola Garai and Sir Christopher Lee in the all star cast.

Also it’s probably that Neil Gaimain himself will appear at some point in the audio drama perhaps as the narrator! So keep your ears open!
