Beyonce Holds a Moment Of Silence For Trayvon Martin

Beyonce was more than kind enough to extend a moment of silence for Trayvon Martin – the young 17 year old boy who unarmed and was shot dead in February.

The “(Girls) Run The World” singer took a moment during the Mrs.Carter World Tour to stop and have a moment of silence for Trayvon Martin, before singing the chorus of “I Will Always Love You.”

Many other celebrities like Rihanna, P Diddy, Nicki Minaj and Russell Simmons have all voiced their anger and frustration over the verdict from last nights trial against George Zimmerman.

Russell Simmons asked for people to be calm and to channel whatever anger they are feeling into trying to fight, “the laws that allow racists acts to go unpunished.”

“Go Getta” rapper, Young Jeezy, posted a song he wrote on his Facebook page called “It’s A Cold World (A Tribute To Trayvon Martin)” after he heard that Zimmerman had been acquitted.

The rapper stated, ‘I’m in no way, shape, form or fashion trying to capitalize off of the latest series of events. These are my true feelings and my form of expression about it.”
