Big Brother Canada continued on Wednesday night as Chris put his backdoor plan into action and one houseguest won the first Power of Veto competition of the season.
The show kicks off following Chris’ nominations of Hira and Brooke, who aren’t happy at all with being up on the block. Chris gets to work planting the seed that he wants Minh-Ly to be backdoored to the Evictors alliance and poor Micheal has no idea what’s coming.
It is then time to pick players for the first PoV competition of the season. Chris as HOH cannot play but Vanessa, Carol, and Maddy join Hira and Brooke in the competition this week. The PoV competition sees the players slide down a slope must use their mouth to pick up fish puzzle pieces and memorize the puzzle before trying to solve on the other end of the lane. The first player to solve it wins.
Hira took an early lead but Vanessa stormed back ahead as the two went back and forth. Vanessa looked like she had it but Hira stuck it out to win the first PoV of Season 8. Later on, Minh-Ly openly is chatting with the girls and tells Vanessa she wants to backdoor Kyle next week. However, little does she know that Vanessa is actually working with Kyle and later spills everything to him, Chris, and Susanne.
At the Power of Veto ceremony, Hira does the smart and obvious thing, taking himself off the block. Chris then puts his backdoor plan into motion and puts Micheal in Hira’s place. The reaction from the rest of the Evictors alliance is one of anger and it looks like Chris has just made himself a lot of enemies.
Who will be evicted from the Big Brother Canada house, Hira or Micheal? Find out tonight at 8 pm ET in the second eviction show of the season with host Arisa Cox.
