Storm Chasers Honor Bill Paxton With A Touching Tribute | Bill Paxton

We lost another great one this weekend when Bill Paxton unfortunately passed away due to complications during surgery. So storm chasers honored the actor.

According to Gizmodo, the actor was honored by storm chasers for literally putting his initials on their maps. For those who don't know, Bill was one of the stars of the movie Twister. The film was instrumental in getting storm chasers the recognition they deserve.

So, to honor the man who helped put their profession on the map, storm chasers made sure that he was on their maps. It was a touching tribute to the late actor.

Bill Paxton Gizmodo

Bill Paxton died late Saturday of a complication during surgery. The Titanic and Aliens star was under when he suffered heart failure. During the In Memoriam segment at the Academy Awards last night, Jennifer Aniston got emotional when she spoke of Bill.

While the two never worked together, her demeanor clearly shows how much Bill Paxton was loved both within his community of actors as well as among his fans. He was a talent like none we have ever seen before.

Bill will surely be missed, but, luckily, we have a bit of his work left to see. You can see Bill in The Circle starring Emma Watson, Training Day, and a few other small projects. And we owe it to his honor to watch and enjoy this work just like we have countless others.

So thank you to those storm chasers who honored the most famous storm chaser of them all. We needed that and our thoughts go out to Bill's family at this trying time.

Go now and watch your favorite from Bill's work -- just don't mistake him for Bill Pullman when you do it. He wouldn't like that.
