As one of the breakout artists of 2020 thanks to his debut album ‘Territories’, which was championed by both critics and fans alike, Dublin based composer BK Pepper is maintaining his strong career start with the release of second single “Alerts,” the video for which PopWrapped are delighted to premiere.

BK has always had a connection to and with music. Classically trained on both the piano and trombone, prior to stepping out on his own and creating and sharing his own music with the world, he composed pieces for film and theatre, and found himself touring with several bands and orchestras. He dreams of collaborating with the RTE Concert Orchestra, the national orchestra Ireland, and with his career on the up, don’t be surprised if such a collaboration happens sooner rather than later – or at least at some point when normal ‘artist’ life resumes.

His latest release, “Alerts”, is a stunningly beautiful and melodic piece of work and the video, created with director Hector H. Romero, sets the scene for a Sci-Fi battle for control of boundaries. BK says of the creative process behind the visuals: “The initial idea of the video spiraled into the Sci Fi world. We wanted to create some much needed escapism and create a different place for a couple of minutes. We had been filming the video in between lockdowns. The whole project had to keep changing to abide by different restrictions. So we ended up doing it all outside and within Dublin’s perimeters.”
