Amanda Bynes retired at 26 and apparently has been attempting to get in to a retirement community.
The troubled actress was recently turned away from a retirement community near her home in Thousand Oaks, California, after being caught trying to trespass onto the property. Security guards turned her away due to allegations that the actress was displaying drunken behavior. She attempted to leave the scene via taxi, but was kicked out of her ride after cursing at the driver, "Get me the f**k out of here … I don’t have any money." Police were called to the scene although she was not arrested.
She may have escaped jail for trying to cozy up with somebody’s grandma, but the actress is behind bars today after being arrested for starting a fire in the driveway of her California home. According to Celebuzz, Bynes has met one (or more) of the three standards required “to be placed under a 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold.”
I’m going to go out on a limb here and remind everyone that in 2008 another famous starlet was placed under the same 5150 psychiatric hold. Britney Spears was in the same position not long ago, but luckily she was able to take control of her life and get back on top.
Bynes, who has had her fair share of legal woes recently and has been a constant media target due to her out-of-control behavior, is being held for a 72 hour mental health evaluation.
For those of you who have been keeping up with the What A Girl Wants actress, this has been a long-time coming. We aren’t sure what the 27 year old wants anymore, but as a concerned fan, I truly hope Amanda can find her path and get back on track like Britney was able to do.
