It has been confirmed via Demi Lovato’s sister, Dallas Lovato’s Twitter that their father – Patrick Lovato – has passed away.
The tweet was posted at around 2:45 pm today, and since then Twitter has exploded with fans giving the Lovato family their love and condolences.
No details have been released as to the cause of their father’s death.
