The time is upon us, Whovians; the wait is over.
It has been announced that Steven Moffat will unveil the elusive Twelfth Doctor LIVE on BBC One at 7pm on Sunday 4th August.
The live show which will be presented by Zoe Ball, and as well as Moffat, current Doctor, Matt Smith, will be on hand to effectively hand over the keys of the TARDIS to the new Time Lord or Lady.
It has come to be known that the casting process was known as “Whodini,” and even the people involved in the process didn’t realise what a momumental process they were a part of.
MSN Entertainment tweeted earlier today that we could expect an announcement at 12 midnight UK time, however, it is believed they were merely talking about the live show, and we are not expecting the identity of the Twelfth Doctor to be unveiled prior to Sunday evening.

I know where I will be at 7pm on Sunday, however, if anyone is uncertain as to what time they need to be online, the announcement is at 11am PDT and 2pm EDT.
Just a little idea the live show would also be a really good place to show us the trailer from Comic Con. Just a suggestion.
