Brian J. Crum just dropped his highly-anticipated single, “Bright” and honestly, we didn’t realize we needed this track until it was released.
Simply put, the song is to help people rediscover their selves when we are in a dark place and are struggling to get out of that dark place. With the darkness that is in the world today, it is easy to find ourselves in a position of weakness and hurt. Brian’s “Bright” is a track that really helps pull you from that darkness.
“I’ve been struggling recently. The world seems so dark and scary. People seem so isolated and afraid. We forget that we have power. We forget that we have a say! So for me, when it feels like I’m lost and I’m questioning my purpose, I try to remember that I have a voice and I can be a light for others. More so this song is to remind people that they also have a voice and they too can be a light for others.” Brian told us.
Brian also had a run with America’s Got Talent in 2016, where he placed fourth in the competition overall. “AGT was really amazing as it provided a landscape for me to share with people. I will never forget it. I’m moving in a very different direction from who I was on the show. I’m growing up! But, I’m grateful for the foundation that AGT helped me lay. It’s a gift I will never be able to repay.” Brian explained.
“Bright” features some phenomenal violin playing by the amazing Brian King Joseph, which ties everything in together. “I knew the track needed that energy that Brian brings to everything he does. He happened to be friends with the Producer as well… So the stars aligned and we made it happen!” Brian told us.
With millions of views on his current performances, Brian is a force to be reckoned with, and he doesn’t plan to slow down anytime soon. “It’s thrilling! As I travel the world and touch every corner of it, I find that people recognize me from these moments. It’s really incredible to me the people it has reached. I’m really looking forward to people getting to know me for my original music. I want the world to get to know me even better. The good the bad and ugly.”
