It is a very heavy time in Hollywood right now. According the the BBC, British actor Paul Bhattacharjee has been found dead at the age of 53. The actor appears to have gone missing on July 10 after he was seen leaving the Royal Court theater where is was amidst rehearsals for his part in the play Talk Show.
After searching for two days, authorities in Seaford, East Sussex contacted London’s police that Bhattacharjee’s body was found at Splash Point Cliffs. While his body was found on July 12, it was just confirmed Wednesday, July 17 that it was indeed him. Thus far the investigators are not treating his death as suspicious and his family have been notified.
After his disappearance and before his body was discovered, his family and friends called out publicly for him to make a safe return. His son, Rahul Bhattacharjee-Prashar told the Evening Standard that his father’s disappearance was “completely out of character” and how “his career and everything seemed to be going okay.”
Paul’s most known credits were Casino Royale, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and EastEnders. He played roles in many other UK TV series such as Bedtime, Identity and Waking the Dead.
We here at PopWrapped send our condolences to his closest family and friends in this tough time.
