It was gonna happen.
People said they saw this coming. As soon as Shain Gandee passed, it was basically set in stone. It was announced on Friday that Buckwild the reality show set in West Virginia had been officially cancelled by MTV. Cast members and a very outraged producer took to twitter to share their thoughts and feelings about the cancellation.
The show’s producer J.P Williams, is also the manager for the remaining cast members. He had this to say in regards to MTV not allowing any other network take over “Buckwild”: ” MTV is the most hypocritical network out there. Susanne & Van can keep promoting premarital sex and leaving the baby after it’s born (on Teen Mom). I’m so glad they found their moral bar.” That statement alone is a cold one at best.
MTV put a quick stop to production after Shain Gandee passed away in a mudding accident, which had something to do with carbon monoxide poisoning.
Fans of the series as well as cast members have become outraged that MTV isn’t e willing to give up the right to the series and allow another network to take over the show.
