Seems as though
John Barrowman,
who has portrayed
Captain Jack,
is in talks to return to Doctor Who for the shows fiftieth anniversary!
While being interviewed on the ITV programme
This Morning
, John Barrowman was asked if he had any involvement in the shows fiftieth anniversary special to which he responded,
“ I haven’t had any information until just about right now. All I can say to you is that we’re discussing things. That’s a total exclusive! You guys are the first to ever hear, because even yesterday I was giving interviews and I was saying I have heard nothing… and now I can give you a little bit of an exclusive that I’d heard something.”
So it seems more than likely that our Captain is to return as not only is he popular with the fans, but he has been asked to return before. Back in series six, show runner
Steven Moffat
, who also created the character, asked
Barrowman
to return for the episode
A Good Man Goes to War
but schedule conflicts with
Barrowman’s
own series
Torchwood: Miracle Day
caused the actor to not be able to make an appearance.
So what do you think are you exited for the possibility that
Captain Jack
might return.
What other characters would you like to make an appearence?
