Having roots in Hip Hop, RNB, Pop and Singer Songwriter genres, Caroline Sky is working in overtime to make sure that the world finally hears the power in her voice and her artistry. From her luminous voice and the first chords that ring out tunefully from her acoustic guitar, Caroline Sky’s audiences are left with little doubt – they are in the presence of a truly extraordinary singer-songwriter, one who combines top- shelf vocal talents, uncommon songwriting insight, and soulful instrumental delivery.

As one of the youngest members to have performed in the prestigious San Francisco Girls Chorus, Caroline’s talents as a vocal artist were honed at an early age. This world-class training gave her opportunities to develop her vocals, perform regularly, and tour extensively, ultimately making appearances with the San Francisco Opera.

Most publicly known for her appearance as a contestant on Season 12 of NBC’s top-rated music reality show, The Voice, Caroline received chair turns from both Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. She competed as a member of Team Gwen, and was later “stolen” back by Blake Shelton. Finally, having competed in three episodes, Caroline was the last contestant to be “knocked out” prior to the airing of live performances in her season. She remains grateful for the experience, and has stayed in close contact with a number of her fellow Season 12 contestants.

Though not receiving airtime, Caroline also participated in 2021’s American Idol Season 4, where she made it to the Top 40 and received standing ovations from both Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. She has studied songwriting at New York University’s summer music program, and has received songwriting mentorship from greats such as Bob Weir (Grateful Dead) and Bonnie Hayes (Bonnie Raitt, Berklee College of Music).

Caroline has always believed that music has the power to bridge differences, to bring people together to achieve a higher purpose. Putting that belief into action, she often lends her talents to benefit concerts and musical philanthropies.

Among her favorite musical beneficiaries have been Camp Jabberwocky, Doctors Without Borders (MSF), Bread and Roses, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Cedars of Marin, and Island Elderly Housing. Notably, Caroline and her Voice “Battle Round” partner Stephanie Rice teamed up in the Spring of 2018 to perform in a concert benefitting victims of the Sonoma and Napa wine country wildfires.

Caroline is currently living between California and New York, performing both independently and with her band virtually. She is currently writing and recording music to be released in 2021.
