Casii Stephan Presents New Single “These Hard Days”

“I wish this song wasn’t relevant again, but here we are wondering what the future holds…”

This pandemic has been so rough on us all and many have become so anxious and stressed that even the most of simple of tasks can feel daunting. Casii Stephan’s new single “These Hard Days”, which PopWrapped are delighted to premiere, details just how tough it has been to keep the faith in these difficult times. With stunning vocals that gently glide over a simple piano arrangement which pulls at the listener’s heartstrings, the offering exudes so much palpable raw emotion thanks to lyrics that beautifully articulate the song’s poignant message.

The accompanying video – which is extremely powerful and thought-provoking – features scenes that can and will no doubt deeply resonate with those who see them. We all know what it is like to be stuck inside your home, left alone with your thoughts and the breaking up the shots inside the house with picturesque nature sights signifies little glimmers of hope bursting through and the clip ends with Stephan staring directly into the camera, as if she is staring into your soul.

The Minnesota native is known for tunes that brilliantly blend soul, pop and rock. Now living in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she continues to charm fans with her captivating tone and detailed storytelling, evoking the sound and style of artists such as Regina Spektor and Tori Amos. There’s a strength that shines through her music, particularly this latest release – it takes considerable bravery to voice the challenging truth that is now our reality. “I wish this song wasn’t relevant again, but here we are wondering what the future holds,” Stephan shares. “My hope is that this song gives you permission to scream out your rage, sorrow, and confusion, because we’ll never be the same.”
