Tributes in the Hunger Games may need to be tough to survive the competition, and apparently so do the actors who play them!
Sam Clafin, who plays heartthrob Finnick Odair in the second film of the trilogy, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, recently injured himself whilst rehearsing.
“Sam got hurt the worst,” Alan Ritchson, who plays District One victor Gloss, revealed, “He broke his hand doing a stunt… It was in rehearsal, so we weren’t even shooting. He broke it on the stunt guy, warming up. I was standing right next to him. It was tough to watch.” Ouch! That’s got to hurt!
Ritchson added that Clafin “took it like a champ – he took it and kept moving.”
You can see Sam Clafin in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire when it hits cinemas November 22.
