The all-out war between mankind and animals will trudge onward (#TeamAnimals). CBS’s sci-fi freshman series Zoo has certainly made quite an impact on the audience. For that reason, the hit series has been renewed for a second season. According to CBS, Zoo was “the most-watched scripted summer series of 2015.”
Based on James Patterson’s brutal novel of the same name, the series tells the terrifying tale of animals who begin to rebel against the human race. Long story short, that means it is only a matter of time before humans are killed by creatures we all admire and who are significantly more badass than us, such as tigers, dogs and, hell!, even bats! Zoo concluded its first season run on September 15. Its main cast features James Wolk (CBS’s The Crazy Ones), Kristen Connolly (The Cabin in the Woods), Nonso Anozie (NBC’s Dracula), Nora Arnezeder (Maniac), and Billy Burke (NBC’s Revolution).
