I will not even try to deny my ladyboner for Chelsea Handler. She calls them like she sees em, and I respect that. Not to mention her favorite activity is vodka drinking and hanging with her friends in Cabo (I’m in the market for some new friends, call me?). Not wanting to miss out on the action Ms. Handler gave her two-cents on Swift’s “special place in hell” for outspoken women. Chelsea said:
“I think that was a bold statement, but I’m not on anyone’s side because I just don’t care enough. I like that she’s being that vociferous about something that she thinks they were out to get her. They were clearly making a joke just about her demeanor, which is embarrassing. I mean, she’s just dated so many men.”
Like I said earlier, Chelsea calls them like she sees em. Taylor has dated (or according to her just been linked to) many men. However, it’s not like Miss Swift is just keeping to herself, she is very vocal about how her relationships are her inspiration for her music writing. So why get angry when people crack joke? You are airing your dirty laundry for all to hear.
Handler goes on to reveal why she believes Taylor has had so many suitors:
“My theory about Taylor Swift is that she’s a virgin, that everyone breaks up with her because they date her for two weeks and she’s like, ‘I’m not gonna do it.’ And they’re like, ‘Oh, well, forget it. Then I don’t want to date you,’Every guy thinks they’re going to devirginize her, and they’re not. She’s never going to get devirginized, ever, ever, ever, ever.”
As much as you don’t want to think men are that shallow, I can see that being true to some extent. It sure is an interesting theory to ponder. So you think that Chelsea Handler is on to something? Or is Taylor Swift just using men as her muse?
